Miss. Kierstie (Counselor)
Education: B.A. in Psychology & Religious Studies, M.A. in Clinical Counseling; LPC pursuant
Experience/Certifications: First aide & CPR
What do you bring to the SLCC Team? 3 yrs in a childcare setting, 5+ years with School-age kids & teens in academics & athletics, 1000+ counseling hours experience
Why did you decided to work with kids? Working with kids is about making sure the next generation knows they are loved, important and have great potential. Working with kids is realizing that they will teach you more than you could ever teach them. Plus they’re fun!
What are you looking forward to in you position? Seeing kids & their families grow, thrive and reach their potential.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Sports, camping/backpacking, hiking, mountain climbing, missions, reading.
What are your hopes/dreams/goals for the future? To lead trauma & crisis counseling missions teams overseas to places of natural disasters and where women and children are treated less than human.
